Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Chennai

The Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Chennai with the consular jurisdiction for the State of Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Puducherry, was officially opened on March 13, 2019. The Honorary Consul is Mr. Ar Rm Arun.

The Honorary Consulate was inaugurated by Ambassador of the Czech Republic to India, H. E. Mr. Milan Hovorka. This was followed by a dinner Reception to mark the occasion.

The Honorary Consulate will be accessible to Czech citizens who could be in need of consular services. It will endeavor to promote trade and investment relations as well as people-to-people contacts between the Czech Republic, on the one hand, and Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, on the other hand.
