SICCI - Interactive Session with H.E. Ambassador of the Czech Republic in India

The Southern India Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Chennai (SICCI) organized an Interactive Session program on account of H. E. Mr. Milan Hovorka, Ambassador of the Czech Republic in India visit to Chennai on Mar 8, 2021.

SICCI had arranged for this Interactive Session to increase ties across various Sectors between Tamil Nadu & the Czech Republic. Members of the SICCI, Industry Representatives from both Chennai, India & the Czech counterparts had participated in the programme.

Mr. Ar Rm Arun, President-SICCI & the Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Chennai briefed the audience about the association with SICCI & Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Chennai and the Indo-Czech Friendship & its connect mutually. While speaking about working together Czech & Tamil Nadu, Mr. Arun conveyed that the Innovative Czech Technologies can be combined with Indian resources to achieve a useful mix that can benefit our societies. In addition to Industry can also work together in areas including Culture, Arts, Music & Sports Training.

SICCI presented about its focus in ties thru events, knowledge focus, policy support & projects. Also presented about the excellent opportunities for the Czech Republic to work together on the various initiatives being taken by SICCI with areas of cooperation including Heavy Engineering, Aerospace & Defence, Automotive, Higher Education & Tourism.

Mr. Jakub Jaros, Economic & Commercial Counsellor, Czech Embassy-New Delhi presented about the potential opportunities that Czech offers.

H.E. Mr. Milan Hovorka, Ambassador of the Czech Republic in India expressed about his happiness to get associated with SICCI towards increasing ties between the Czech Republic & Tamil Nadu. He had informed that the Czech Republic is one of the few Countries who had started in person visits to develop Industrial & Cultural exchanges. Also conveyed about assisting with necessary cooperation thru Webinars & delegation visits to enhance further on increasing ties.

The participants were interested to get to know more about the supports extended to the Indian counterparts thru Education & Defence programs. Answering to one of the question on Education, H.E. Ambassador had informed to go thru a single link "Stduyin.CZ" which clarifies all the queries.
