H. E. Mr. Milan Hovorka, Ambassador of the Czech Republic in India visited Thiru. Banwarilal Purohit, Hon'ble Governor of Tamil Nadu on a courtesy call at the Raj Bhavan during his recent visit to Chennai on Mar 8, 2021.

Mr. Ar Rm Arun, Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Chennai and Mr. Jakub Jaroš, Economic & Commercial Counsellor, Czech Embassy-New Delhi accompanied the Ambassador for the Courtesy visit.

This visit was towards increasing ties between the Czech Republic & Tamil Nadu. Hon'ble Governor's interest in growing bilateral relationship was laudable.

It was also nice to know Hon'ble Governor's interest towards developing the Education Sector within the State and as well across the Country. He also shared few words about having good experiences of the Czech’s heavy Engineering & equipment manufacturing.

Mr. Arun, Honorary Consul suggested the Hon'ble Governor about exploring further in the Education sector thru various possible ties between the Universities of the Czech Republic & Tamil Nadu.
