HC-Mr.Arun’s Delhi-Embassy Visit

The Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Chennai, Mr. Ar Rm Arun visited the Czech Embassy during his recent visit to Delhi. The purpose was a general courtesy to convey his greetings to the Embassy Officials.

With H.E. Mr. Milan Hovorka on travel out of India, Mr. Arun had detailed discussions with Mr. Roman Masarik, Deputy Ambassador. Mr. Arun briefed Mr. Masarik on the various initiatives of the Chennai Honorary Consulate and sought the Embassy’s support towards the engagement proposals submitted.

Mr. Arun also met with Ms. Eva Chmelikova, Third Secretary - Consular Section, and discussed about the upcoming Higher Education Webinar scheduled on Wed Aug 25, 2021. With all confirmations being in place, the event was certainly looked forward to increase interactions between the Czech Republic and Tamil Nadu in the Higher Education sector.

Mr. Masarik took the opportunity to introduce Mr. BG Petr Tomanek, Defence Attache who recently joined the Embassy. Mr. Arun in turn took the opportunity to brief Mr. Tomanek about the recent Aerospace & Defense Webinar that was conducted in Chennai, along with the opportunity that Tamil Nadu presents in this sector to work alongside the Czech Republic.
