Mr. Ar Rm Arun interacted with the new Czech Ambassador-designate Dr. Eliška Žigová

Her Excellency Ambassador Dr. Eliška Žigová readily acknowledged the request from the Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Chennai Mr. Ar Rm Arun for a Video Telecon. Mr. Arun requested this Telecon to introduce himself and importantly the work of the Czech Honorary Consulate in Chennai in propelling the Czech Republic’s connect with Tamil Nadu & Puducherry. The meeting was the 1st that Ambassador Žigová had with the Czech Honorary Consuls within the diplomatic jurisdiction of the Czech Embassy in New Delhi. Specific areas of impetus towards upcoming projects were discussed and a roadmap to future projects were also explored. Mr. Arun also took the opportunity to invite Ambassador Žigová to the extremely cultural, classical & industrial Indian regions of Tamil Nadu & Puducherry.

Ambassador Žigová appreciated the efforts being taken and assured all assistance in propelling the connect, especially considering the developing geo-political scenario. While agreeing with Ambassador Žigová, Mr. Arun said that this was the time to strengthen bridges among friends and that it was encouraging to see India’s growing connect with the Czech Republic. While thanking Ambassador Žigová for taking the time to meet today, Mr. Arun assured Ambassador Žigová of support in whatever areas necessary and can possibly be done. Ambassador Žigová said it was her pleasure to meet today and thanked Mr. Arun for a great discussion, many interesting suggestions and that she is looking forward to the cooperation.
