As of Aug 23, 2021 India is not listed by Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic as a country with extreme risk of COVID-19 therefore visa agenda at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi is significantly extending.
Effective from Aug 23, 2021 the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi in compliance with Protective Measure of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic is entitled to accept following visa/residence permits applications:
Schengen Visas ; Long-term visas/residence permits
The Embassy of the Czech Republic will first schedule the appointment dates in chronological order for applicants whose appointments were cancelled due to closure of the visa section of the Embassy. Booking system will be opened in September.
It is still prohibited to accept visa applications for tourist, business or family/friends visit purposes.
Protective Measure of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic also allows all applicants who prove that they underwent complete vaccination against COVID-19 to apply for visa without any limitations. In that case applicant must be holder of recognized certificate of COVID-19 vaccination.
Recognition of vaccination certificates from other countries
COVID-19 vaccination certificates issued by countries in the territorial jurisdiction of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi (India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Maldives) are currently not recognized by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic. Therefore applicants from these countries are eligible to apply only for visa purpose mentioned in the list above.
