Tamil Nadu lockdown guidelines - Government announces more restrictions

The Tamil Nadu government has announced more restrictions from 4 am on Apr 26th.

Cinema Theatres, Gyms, Recreation Clubs, all bars, auditoriums, meeting halls, big format shops, shopping complexes and malls will not be permitted to function. Beauty parlours, spas, salons, barber shops are not allowed in all Corportations & Municipalities.

Public worship is not allowed in the religious places, while daily rituals or prayers shall go on with Staffs alone.

e-Commerce services shall continue in the restricted timing. IT & ITES Companies are mandated to allow 50% of employees to work from home. Sports training academics are not allowed. Training is allowed only for International and National Competitions.

Except Puducherry, e-registration is compulsory for all those coming from states like Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and from overseas by air or sea. Night curfew and Sunday lockdown will continue.
