Tamil Nadu Government extends Lockdown till Jul 19th with few more relaxations

The Tamil Nadu government has extended the lockdown till Jul 19, 2021 with few more relaxations in all districts. All permitted activities will continue in the State, except containment zones.

The Shops and other activities permitted earlier till 8pm will be now allowed till 9pm. Restaurants, tea shops, bakeries, road-side eateries, sweet and savoury shops will be permitted with usual conditions and 50% Customers.

Competitive examinations for State and Union Government jobs can be held at exam centres with all SOPs followed. The agencies will have to inform the District Collectors in advance.

Bus transport to Puducherry is allowed.

In continuation with last week's order, Schools, Colleges, Theatres, Bars, Swimming pools, Zoos, Biological parks will remain closed. All social, political and cultural events too will remain prohibited.
