Mr. Ar Rm Arun, Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Chennai met with Thiru K. Shanmugam, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Tamil Nadu

Mr. Ar Rm Arun, Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Chennai visited the Secretariat, Chennai on Mon, Feb 10, 2020 towards meeting with Thiru K. Shanmugam, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Tamil Nadu ; this visit was to put forth the establishment of Honorary Consulate Office of the Czech Republic in Chennai during Mar 2019 and expressing strong interest to increase engagement between Tamil Nadu & the Czech Republic.

Thiru. Shanmugam expressed his appreciation of Mr. Arun reaching out with this meeting as well as Mr. Arun having well interacted with senior Officials of GoTN. He said it was good to know the interest of the Czech Republic to work with Tamil Nadu and will be glad to explore suitable opportunities towards the growth of the bilateral relationship. Sectors put forth by Mr. Arun were Tourism, Education, Industry, Youth Sports, Glass-making & micro-Breweries.

Dr. P. Senthil Kumar, IAS - Principal Secretary & Mr. A. R. Rahul Nadh, IAS - Deputy Secretary (Protocol), Public Department also joined the meeting.
